Waiver for participation in the LIFT Process
LIFT Ireland is a not-for-profit, open and collaborative initiative. It is a voluntary association of individuals and groups working together to raise the level of leadership in Ireland and thereby improve Irish society, by discussing values-based leadership themes together with friends, co-workers and family.
LIFT is funded through a ‘Robin Hood’ model, in which those that can afford to pay, do so, by making an annual contribution to support LIFT; and those that cannot are enabled to be involved through those contributions. This allows LIFT to include people across all levels of society and also allows LIFT partners to make a real difference to Ireland’s society and their local communities.
LIFT provides the materials and other supports; and trusts that each LIFT facilitator and roundtable leader, as partners and guardians of the LIFT project, will maintain its integrity and help to keep it developing and growing. This means that you are requested not to copy the material or use the 5-step process outside of LIFT – if additional materials are needed, just contact us and we will get them to you.
LIFT Roundtables are not a form of, or alternative to, counselling or therapy. They are an opportunity for self-reflection and personal improvement. LIFT Ireland and its employees and officers are not responsible for, and you waive any rights against them in relation to, any claims, damage or injury arising out of any Roundtable discussion groups or meetings.
When the roundtable is held by or at an external organisation then the safeguarding policy of that organisation takes precedence. When the roundtable is held as part of an event organised and hosted by LIFT Ireland then LIFT safeguarding policy can be found at https://liftireland.ie/safeguarding.
Your participation in the Roundtable discussion groups, training or meetings will be deemed and treated as acknowledgment and acceptance of this.
