[LIFT lets] you just express yourself to a class and feel free. You don’t have to hide anything – everyone just listens and doesn’t judge you or anything, just everyone listens.

I think it’s changed everything in terms of how I deal with other people. […] LIFT really made you think about just adding value to other people and how your actions affect other people..

I reckon if this is given to people under 18 first, they’d have the strength to be able to deal with things that life’s going to throw at them, in school and in real life. Like for me, that’s where I went wrong. I didn’t have that skill, so it led me onto a road where I took drugs to get away from them feelings. So I reckon if the younger age get it before, they’ll have the skill set to deal with it a lot better.

Help Young People in Ireland Build a Brighter Future Through LIFT
At LIFT (Leading Ireland’s Future Together), our vision is simple yet powerful: to create positive change in Ireland, one person at a time.
Every week, hundreds of LIFT roundtables take place in board rooms and work places, but also in schools, youth groups, and communities across the country. These conversations help young people discover confidence, respect, empathy and integrity, values that will guide them for life.
And here’s the most amazing part:
Everything we offer is free to anyone who wants to take part. We never want cost to be the reason a young person misses out.
That’s only possible because of people like you, individuals and organisations who give so that others can grow. Your support directly funds training, and LIFT materials for schools and community groups that otherwise couldn’t afford it.
If you’re already a giver, thank you. You’re part of the reason a child in Ireland has discovered what leadership truly means.
If you haven’t yet joined us, we invite you to start today. Become part of Ireland’s leadership story, one that begins in our classrooms and grows across our communities.
For tax-deductible donations or corporate giving, please contact Hannah@LIFTIreland.ie
LIFT Ireland is a not-for-profit social enterprise that voluntarily follows national charity and social enterprise fundraising guidelines to ensure full transparency and integrity. Your support directly strengthens our mission to raise the level of leadership across Ireland.
