Supporting LIFT Ireland

LIFT is for everyone.  Being a leader isn’t about having a title or position of authority. It is not about being the CEO, the captain or the manager. We believe that all of us are leaders. No matter our role in life, we can all lead by example and set standards for ourselves and others.

The inspiration for LIFT was developed as our founders witnessed the huge benefits that positive leadership, not only a person’s career, but their day-to-day lives. Together they wondered how much stronger we would be as a country if our children, teachers, community members, and businesses lived according to leadership values such as respect, honesty, integrity, and empathy.

Our goal at LIFT Ireland is that, within 10 years, 10% of the population will have partaken in LIFT’s leadership learning process. As a not-for-profit initiative we rely on the support of our members. Further down the page we have outlined the ways you can get involved.

LIFT Ireland officially launched in 2018 with 23 Founding Partners. These organisations made a commitment to participate and roll out LIFT within their organisation. Our partner programme continues to grow. As a partner, your contribution assists us in growing LIFT nationwide. LIFT Ireland can then bring the roundtable process, training and materials to charities and schools across Ireland.

Become a Facilitator

Integral to LIFT’s leadership learning process are roundtables, lead by certified facilitators. There are currently over 1,000 facilitators in Ireland. Complete Our Survey

LIFT’s leadership values were identified through national and independently-run surveys. During this period of research, national representative samples of the Irish population were asked to list the leadership attributes they felt our country needed to develop most.

We want to build on this research with the help of our community. If you’d like to help LIFT in a small but meaningful way, we invite you to complete a quick survey. There are only five questions and it shouldn’t take more than two minutes to complete. Thanks!
